Mehdi Khalili, P.E.NSPE-California President
Mehdi Khalili graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering and is licensed as a professional engineer (PE). He has over 15 years of private and public engineering service in the US and abroad, including consulting with Atkins, the UK's largest engineering consultancy. In his current roles within California, Mehdi has worked for the City of Lemon Grove, City of Vista, and both City and County of San Diego. He enjoys traveling, music and movies.
Joseph Quinn, P.E.
Joseph is a licensed Metallurgical Engineer in five (5) states and owner of Materials FACT, a failure analysis consulting business located in Los Angeles, CA. He holds a M.S. in Materials Engineering, is active in various industry organizations and joined NSPE in 2015.
Ken Discenza, P.E.NSPE-California Treasurer
Ken is a licensed Civil Engineer in California and owner of Site Design Associates, Inc. serving Southern California for the past 37 years. A Fellow of NSPE, Ken has been an NSPE member since 1990 and has held leadership roles in the the former San Diego Chapter, the NSPE House of Delegates, NSPE Task Forces and is Past President of NSPE-California.
Jeanne Marie Tokunaga (Sacramento)
As the Executive Director of the CSPE Education Foundation, Jeanne Marie helps bridge the relationship between CSPE with CSPEEF.org to help foster the development and advocacy of California's emerging and future engineers. Jeanne Marie has been managing nonprofit programs for more than 20 years and has provided communications support to California MATHCOUNTS competitions for the past four years. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, Jeanne Marie was a daily newspaper journalist.
